LOST PHOTOS: Found!
I thought I lost a ton of my photography when a hard drive crashed, but today discovered I managed to save some!!!
The shots, that range from my documentary film production in Kenya to random days living out of my car in 2009, also happened to include this one (above) from a camping trip to New Mexico.
Time to go camping again, methinks.

Wrapped - Day 1

Finished Day 1 of the fashion photo shoot for Jenny Dayco Designs Spring 2012 collection. I wasn’t shooting this time, though. I was modeling and it was so much fun! Bunch of creative friends getting together in the mountains wearing awesome gear? I cant wait to see the shots.

Marilyn Nakazato, the photographer was brilliant, and Tashina Hunter’s designs gave the whole shoot this ethereal, Midsummer’s Night Dream feel. I swear the test shots were like an allegory.

Can’t wait to share the shots with you guys. Everything since I’ve been back in L.A. has been so L.A.… and I’m actually enjoying it.

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR VAGABOND: Ancestry
So I’m 1/2 Mexican, grew up in Mexico and, although some may see me as some gringo, I feel more Mexican then American in many ways.
Then I found out I may be descended from Hernán Cortés - the Spanish conquistador that raped, pillaged, and slaughtered the indigenous Aztec people, but an adventurer in his own right.
So… Identity crisis much?

Looking at my FB photos

makes me wonder who the hell ended up with all the clothes I’ve donated over the past 5 years. And why the hell I got rid of some of them to begin with. Eh. C’est la vie.

TRAVEL UPDATE: Mexico!
I can’t believe the amazing friends I have. Without them - and one special Bay Area beauty - this trip would not be happening.
Orale, amigos! Back to my native Mexico… with continued gratitude.

In this economy…

… people are either going to aim for greater gains and grapple to keep what they have or leap to something new.

How about you?
